Adam Nepon – Indigenous Engagement Strategist

Adam brings over 15 years of experience facilitating engagement processes that prioritize Indigenous voices, build meaningful partnerships, and support organizations through reconciliation, equity, and systems change. His approach is grounded in humility, relationship-building, and cultural safety. Adam has worked across sectors, including health, education, and community development, and is known for creating safe, participatory spaces for truth-telling and learning. Adam has spoken extensively on corporate responsibility and how organizations, especially in the social service sectors, can lead the way in economic reconciliation.

As the first graduate from the Asper School of Business with a focus on Indigenous Business and Economics. Adam has positioned himself as a thought leader in creating sustainable, inclusive solutions that align with the TRC’s Calls to Action that empowers the leaders he works with to not only respond to these challenges but to champion meaningful change within their organizations. His forward-thinking leadership and approach to economic development have led to award-winning business strategies. Adam’s ability to inspire organizations to take meaningful steps in response to Calls to Action makes him the ideal choice for preparing leaders to continue their organization’s Truth and Reconciliation journey.

By working with Adam, companies will be equipped to make meaningful contributions toward reconciliation, creating inclusive work environments that reflect the diversity of our province and the richness of its Indigenous cultures. His extensive career includes strategic guidance in his role as Vice Chair of the Indigenous Chamber of Commerce, where he advises on human resource and organizational development with a lens of inclusivity and long-term growth. His work with the Young Associates, a group focused on developing emerging youth leaders, demonstrates his commitment to fostering economic advancement across Manitoba.

Whether offering workshops, reviewing internal practices, or facilitating candid conversations, I strive to create space for meaningful progress — not just performative action.
