| Community Futures is a community-based economic renewal initiative funded by the Government of Canada and directed by local volunteer boards. Our main objectives are to help rural Canadians start or expand a business and to help sustain and improve communities and their local economies. Community Futures West Interlake Inc. is committed to economic development in the West Interlake by providing: a) community economic development and strategic community planning and project support; b) business advisory services including business planning, business information and entrepreneurship training; and c) delivery of a higher risk investment fund loans and the Self Employment Assistance program.
