Prairie Theatre Exchange is home to live theatre in the heart of downtown Winnipeg. Each season PTE brings 5 plays to its 323-seat stage in a subscription series in addition to add on shows such as our Munsch family show. The focus is on new, Canadian plays. PTE also is a venue for not-for-profit groups and corporate clients to rent our facility. PTE has a commitment to bring at least one Indigenous story to our stage each season. PTE also supports artists with its 2 Companies in residence – Kiyanaan Theatre Festival and RISE Musical Theatre.
