This session focuses on addressing systemic barriers to Indigenous employment and developing actionable strategies for inclusive recruitment and retention. Participants will learn about proactive outreach, cultural competency training, and creating mentorship programs that support Indigenous employees from hiring through career growth. This workshop equips organizations to bridge employment gaps and foster meaningful relationships with Indigenous communities. By implementing equitable hiring practices that respect Indigenous cultural values, organizations can create environments where Indigenous employees thrive.
